The Saskatoon Women's Community Coalition (SWCC) is a not-for-profit organization involving individuals and representatives from various community agencies. The organization was established in 2000 and continues to organize events which focus on women's issues.
We are open to suggestions and new events. We have organized several events over the past years, including International Women's Day, Take Back the Night Rally and March, and the December 6th National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
The Saskatoon Women's Community Coalition includes representatives from:
Saskatoon YWCA Housing and Shelter
Department of Women's and Gender Studies, University of Saskatchewan

and many individuals who are interested in women's issues in our community
Our purpose is to work co-operatively with various agencies and individuals to raise awareness about violence against women in our society. We welcome new committee members to join us.
